Nurse Practitioner - Bariatrics

We are looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team of bariatrics specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bariatrics, obesity surgery, and obesity medicine.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

• Providing comprehensive care to patients who are obese or overweight and considering bariatric surgery
• Performing preoperative and postoperative assessments
• Coordinating care with other members of the bariatrics team, including surgeons, dietitians, and psychologists
• Educating patients about bariatric surgery and the postoperative recovery process

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Master's degree in nursing (MSN)
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• At least 2 years of experience in providing care to patients who are obese or overweight
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of bariatric surgery and obesity medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
