Responsibilities

Nocturnist MD

• Provide overnight inpatient care, managing acute medical conditions.
• Address emergent situations and ensure continuity of care during night shifts.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver effective, high-quality care.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and medical interventions.

Hospitalist MD (Day Shifts)

• Deliver comprehensive daytime inpatient care, managing a range of medical conditions.
• Coordinate care transitions, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Work closely with specialists and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain thorough and detailed documentation of patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Connecticut.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
